Overview
We are a 25 bed critical access hospital located in beautiful Globe Arizona, just a short 90 minute drive from Phoenix. The region served by Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center is a 65 mile radius which includes the towns and cities of Globe, Miami, Claypool, San Carlos, Superior, Kearny, Hayden, Winkleman, Tonto Basin, Roosevelt, and Young. These communities border Arizona’s magnificent Tonto National Forest and are surrounded by some of the most spectacular mountain vistas in the Southwest. The mining and ranching industries are still a major factor in the economy of each of these communities. Cobre Valley Regional Medical Center is also within a 20 minute drive of Roosevelt Lake, the largest lake in Arizona, and within a 30 minute drive to 7,000 feet up in the beautiful Pinal Mountains the hospital is also within a 90 minute drive to Phoenix, Arizona’s capital, and Tucson to the south.
