Enterprise Data Governance & Platforms (EDGP) is part of the larger Enterprise Digital and Data Solutions (EDDS) organization. EDGP improves the customer experience and drives business growth through robust enterprise-wide data policies and governance and enabling a data-driven culture, while developing digital and data platforms that provide insightful customer relationships and allow users to leverage enterprise-wide data capabilities.

Identity Product Solutioning and Data team is focused on effectively solutioning the customer need, support onboarding/integrations, deliveries and rollout strategies of Identity capabilities in global market and making Identity product and partners successful by providing the information and process for their need, and maintaining the high-quality execution, reporting, and tracking across Identity product and programs.

Data strives to be the brain and the engine of American Express Identity. In this role, you need to ensure that our stakeholders, business and fraud partners and product managers have the insight, tools, and processes they need to run the business effectively and efficiently.

The position will help streamline how the Data & Operations serves the business. You’ll be close to identity most critical performance and transactional data and develop a keen understanding of how Identity maintains user through its various products and channels and how to streamline reporting from onboarding to platform health to future enhancements.

**Duties and Responsibilities:**

You’ll lead, develop, and owns the roadmap and define strategy for Identity Data and Reporting capabilities and help us across critical areas of Enterprise Identity, data analysis and product execution into our domain:

+ Design, develop and manage Identity data platform and operationalize processes for data generated through various Identity capabilities and identity specific journeys from point of data origination till data storage in cornerstone and/or other backend systems and easy access to that data to our business partner and stakeholders as and when needed.

+ Build, formalize and automate enterprise Identity reporting capabilities, and set regular cadences including weekly/monthly/quarterly reports, product and distribution channel reviews, forecasting, etc.

+ Mature our metrics and build data insights and support our POs, leaders, stakeholders with new data models that reflect the health and success of our business.

+ Present findings and insights to our product and operations leadership and GTM executives.

+ Help optimize Identity data to better serve the needs of our business partners and how data help us effectively plan and prioritize the incremental enhancements, deliveries, and rollout globally

+ Identify areas to improve processes, data quality, and system serviceability; work cross functional to drive enhancements.


+ 5 years of experience as aData Analyst or Business Analyst with background in Data

+ 3 years of experience in Product Management preferably in Data Products

+ Validated experience with data visualization, business intelligence and analytics tools or packages includes but not limited to Tableau, Splunk, Hive, Sisense etc.

+ Experience in SQL/No SQL/in memory databases including Cornerstone, Redis, Mongo and with hands on Data manipulation and SQL querying skills.

+ Experience working with cornerstone, cloud environment, enterprise data and data management tools

+ Data analysis, manipulation, and transformation skills.

+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills combined with strong business discernment and an ability to communicate data analysis in a clear and compelling manner.

+ Exhibits confidence and a deep understanding of emerging industry practices when solving business problems

+ Identifies data issues with ease and dedicatedly develops an action plan for resolution.

+ Delivers informative, well-organized presentations

+ Understands how to communicate difficult/ sensitive information thoughtfully

+ Clear product and program management and communication skill.

+ Ability to write and define requirements for product, clients and engineering.
