Staff Analyst

The Staff Analyst will play a vital role in the success of this fast-growing company. This individual must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and possess a great attitude and team player mentality.

Responsibilities:

+ Prepare weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting for the executive team and business leaders

+ Maintain tools and resource documents available to business leaders to guide their daily decision-making process

+ Assist with reconciliation and accounting of rebates to ensure timely and accurate payments, including preparation of monthly journal entries

+ Support the Pricing Department by working directly with the branch network to add pricing efficiencies, improve accuracy, and maximize profitability

+ Create new item SKUs as necessary with the correct coding and classifications to ensure accurate reporting as well as maintenance of the existing SKU population

+ Maintain calendar of important events and dates around monthly reporting, rebate receipts, price increases, etc. to ensure timely completion of department tasks

Experience and Education Requirements:

+ Undergraduate degree in Finance or Accounting

+ Minimum 2 years of experience in accounting or finance-related position

+ Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint

+ Strong fluency with Excel formulas, functions, and modeling techniques

+ Experience with Agility and PowerBI is a plus

+ Must have excellent customer service skills and attitude

+ Must be detail-oriented and possess excellent organizational and time management skills

+ Multi-location experience a plus

+ Roofing industry experience is a plus

+ Must be analytical and able to solve problems

+ Must have good verbal and written communication skills
