Welders will be working with structural steel and need to read blueprints to apply correct weld and thickness. Operate welding machines and position welding to to perform all required welding operations. Welders will also run overhead crane system to handle steel beams, plates, and assemblies. Must be able to utilize chains, grabs, etc. to rig steel for handling.
