JOB DESCRIPTION

+ Work individually with clients on triage calls to regulate and manage difficult situations

+ Promote self-regulation skills and scaffolding to help clients utilize tools and skills learned in treatment to manage distress and emotional dysregulation

+ Work effectively with the resident milieu to establish relationships with residents and identify residents in need of additional support and patterns of behavior in the milieu

+ Communicate effectively with clinical, medical, residential, and other teams to identify clients needing additional support

+ Conduct clinical groups as scheduled and provide additional group coverage as needed

+ Facilitate fun and engaging activities for resident involvement and morale

+ Complete timely documentation including individual contact notes and group notes

QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION

+ Bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling, marriage and family, addiction counseling, or related human services field

LICENSURE/DESIGNATIONS/CERTIFICATIONS

+ Ability to obtain and maintain Fingerprint Clearance Card (if unlicensed)

+ CPR and De-escalation/Restraint certification required (training available upon hire)
