Journeyman Lineman -Distribution
The Distribution Journeyman Lineman is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of Energized Overhead Distribution and/or Transmission systems and perform related work as required. This position works directly under the Foreman/Working Foreman, General Foreman or Superintendent. Willingness to travel is a must.
+ At ALL times, adheres to a culture of Safety, Professionalism and Quality.
+ Experienced with OH Distribution line work, hot sticking, and rubber gloving.
+ Primarily works out of an insulated aerial lift (bucket truck) on energized OH Distribution circuits.
+ Operates Insulated Aerial Lifts (Bucket Trucks), Digger/Derricks, Pulling & Tensioning Equipment as well as other industry standard tools and equipment.
+ Digs holes & trenches, sets poles, climbs poles, strings wire, installs equipment and tests systems.
+ Works with various types of tools; hand, battery, electric, hydraulic, gas-powered, etc.
+ Participates in the supervision, instruction, and development of Apprentice Linemen.
+ Participates in safety meetings and training.
+ Performs after-hours duties as required.
+ Works scheduled and unscheduled overtime, as needed or required.
+ Follows Safety Standards & Procedures to ensure work is complete without incident or injury.
+ Performs other duties as assigned/needed.
+ Must be willing to travel.
+ Journeyman Lineman Card or verifiable work experience
+ At least 4+ years of experience working with utilities, in the Electrical OH Distribution field
+ Valid CDL license with excellent driving record preferred

Construction site environment includes early stage permitting, development and auditing through finished roads and features. Extensive travel with driving to remote sites along with office work in field conditions is also included.

Anticipated Rate: $41-$46
