**As our Behavioral Health Technician at St. Joseph's Hospital and Medical Center** , now part of CommonSpirit Health formed between Catholic Health Initiatives (CHI) and Dignity Health, you'll help our patients feel safer and more comfortable by assisting with their basic daily life activities.
We want our patients to be as comfortable as possible and believe that starts with basic patient care. Our Behavioral Health Technicians are a vital part of the care team – treating each patient's individual needs, documenting care, and supporting our clinical teams.

+ Provide a variety of routine tasks and direct patient care to support our patients and our clinical teams.
+ Communicate, monitor, and document pertinent patient information.
+ Assist with admission, transfers, transporting, lifting, and discharge of patients.
+ Make rounds and respond promptly to patients, families, and clinical team requests.
+ Work effectively and collaboratively in a diverse and multicultural environment.
+ Assist in organization, cleaning, and safety of the unit and patient rooms.
+ One year experience in a Mental Health setting
+ High School graduate or equivalent
+ Must be registered as a AZ CNA or LNA
+ American Heart Association BLS certification
+ Two years experience in a MentalHealth setting
+ Associates Degree in a behavioral scienceor Bachelor's degree in a related field
