**Job Brief**
Position requires a highly self-motivated individual, who works well in a team-oriented environment, possesses excellent communication and customer service skills and is comfortable working on diverse projects. Solid background in system design,application developmentand support services for .NET web applications for the Business Applications – Land, Risk & Claims (BALRC) team. Solid background in web-based development utilizing the .NET platform, Angular, SQL Server and Rest Services.
**Job Responsibilities**
+ Primary responsibilities include:
+ System design, development, and support for .NET web applications in a Windows 10, SQL Server environment for critical business areas throughout SRP
+ Under minimal supervision, works closely with project team members and clients, providing expertise in problem solving and innovation.
+ Work with project lead, development team, and solution architect to ensure application design adheres to user interface standards and department best practices
+ Work collaboratively with departments to effectively communicate progress and performance
+ Applies SRP and IT processes/methods, practices, and techniques to deliver solutions
**Education**
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution that prepares the employee for the assignment.
**Experience**
Promotion to Level 2 requires a minimum of two years experience at Level 1 and demonstrated capability to perform advanced and more difficult work as determined by the supervisor. Promotion to Senior Level requires a minimum of 3 years experience at Level 2, is fully competent in all aspects of functional area of assignment and as such would be recognized as a specialist in area of assignment and may have periodic or occasional lead responsibilities.
**Additional Information**
+ Extensive knowledge of Windows operating systems
+ Experience with Windows Server Administration
+ Knowledge and experience with Microsoft development tools especially the .NET Framework, Web API, Windows Communication Foundation (WCF), SQL Server and Team Foundation Server (TFS)
+ Expertise in writing SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, triggers and views
+ Understanding of data models and logical databases and their evolution to the physical database design.
+ Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)
+ Experience with SharePoint 2013
+ Knowledge of the Dynamics 365 development platform and environment is a plus
+ Experience with JavaScript development frameworks such as Angular JS and Angular is a plus
+ Experience with SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) is a plus
+ Experience with Tableau Business Intelligence Software is a plus
+ Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus
+ Proficiency in UI/UX design, utilizing tools such as Bootstrap is a plus
+ Strong knowledge of Microsoft family of products (Word, Excel, Exchange, Active Directory, etc.)
+ Complete understanding and application of the Software Development Life Cycle including familiarity with both Waterfall and Iterative development methodologies
+ Able to work both in a team environment and independently and deliver high quality results when provided a set of technical requirements
+ Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
+ Clear and effective written/verbal communication skills
