**Mission Statement**

Jacobs is seeking a qualified Network Administrator to support the United States Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) contract. The U.S. Army Electronic Proving Ground (EPG) executes developmental testing in direct support of the Army to ensure our Warfighters are enabled to dominate the future battlefield.

**Job Description:**

Supports the EPG Office of Technology Division as member of the software development team using Visual Studio 2019/2022 and Team Foundation Server 2018, primarily developing in C# and SQL Server T-SQL. Most development is focused on the collection, reduction, and analysis of military network traffic. Maintains positive work relationships with customer and coworkers. Responds positively to changes in schedules and priorities. Helps customer understand technical issues with software. Manages time efficiently while remaining flexible to changing requirements and deadlines. Accumulates institutional knowledge to better understand the context of customer requirements. Will be required to reverse engineer, enhance, and debug existing software to meet customer requirements. Travels as necessary to support software revisions at test events. Demonstrates and able to provide training on our current and future software as necessary to colleagues and customers.

Candidate should be experienced with Agile software development methodologies to include Scrum and Kanban.

**Here’s What You’ll Need:**

**Required Education, Training, and Experience:**

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and 5 years of experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

**Required Education, Training, and Experience:**

Bachelor’s in computer science or Mathematics or similar and CompTIA Security+ certification to be 8570 compliant IA Level II. At least 3 years’ experience developing software. Significant experience with C#, SQL, OOD or SOLID, WPF, Visual Studio 2015+, and Team Foundation Server required. Knowledge of/or experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Elastic Stack, Tactical Messaging, Unit Testing, Network Protocols, RF, tactical radios, Azure, Git, LINQ, Mono, Linux, C++, Android, Web, Xamarin, and ZMQ/NetMQ.

**Desired skills:**

Experience with Agile methodologies

Experience with C4ISR systems

Experience with SQL and no-SQL database development

Experience developing instrumentation/data collection applications.

Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)

Experience with PowerShell scripting/automation

**CTLC Requirements:**

Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline and 5 years of experience, or any equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.

Familiar with Computer Science, and or Information Technology and C4ISR systems development/testing. Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. May lead and direct the work of others. May report directly to a project lead or manager. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.

**Essential Functions for Position**

**Physical Requirements**

Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods of time. Position may require filing, typing, and reading from a computer screen. Must have sufficient mobility, included but not limited to: bending, reaching, turning and kneeling to complete daily duties in a timely and efficient manner. There is a possibility that due to parking availability and location of work, walking moderate to long distances may be required.

**Work Environment**

Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task. An inside environment may be a cubicle (considerations: close quarters, low to moderate noise, bright or dim lighting). Needs to be able to work well with co-workers, customer, and all levels of management. No hazards on job or unusual environmental conditions. Work site is located at Ft. Huachuca, AZ.

**Equipment and Machines**

IT equipment will be provided to complete job responsibilities.

**Attendance**

Regular hours will be between Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Regular attendance of scheduled hours is extremely important. Punctuality and regular attendance are necessary to meet deadlines. Must exhibit flexibility of work hours to adjust to surge situations based on critical mission requirements.

**Other Essential Functions**

Must always demonstrate professional behavior when dealing with customers, management and co-workers. Must have clear, concise and accurate communications skills in English, both verbal and written. Grooming and dress must be appropriate for the position and must not impose a safety risk to employees or others. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a professional manner. Independent personal transportation to office or work site is required. Travel to and from customer’s locations and the test fields may be required to support projects. This may involve airline travel. In some cases, accommodations can possibly be made for POV, if necessary. When operating any vehicle for work purposes, must wear seat belt and in addition, no cellular devices are to be used when vehicle is in motion.
