Role Overview
As the Associate IT Specialist, you will support the operation of network systems, architecture, and topology by becoming an essential member of the operation. You will learn from some of the top IT Experts in the industry and gain valuable experience.
General Skillset
+ Experience with Microsoft Office
+ Verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to work both collaboratively and individually
+ Critical Thinking Skills
+ Ability to give presentations and briefings
Specific Skillset
+ Experience with Internet Protocol version 6 (IPv6), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Border Gateway Protocol (BGP), Virtual Local Area Networks (VLANs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Network Address Translation (NAT).
+ Perform systems installation, operation, integration, and troubleshooting in order to maintain optimum Information Technology (IT) system operations.
+ Install and configure wireless hubs, routers, switches, and various transmission media, server hardware, and software, and ensure the proper installation and configuration of workstation hardware and software for efficient operation on the network
Requirements
Education & Certifications
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance
+ Computing Technology Industry Association (CompTIA) Security+ Certification
+ Microsoft Beginner Level Certification preferred
+ DoD IAT Level 2
Experience Requirements
