Everything we do at Sunrun is driven by a determination to transform the way we power our lives. We know that starts at the individual employee level. We strive to foster an environment you can thrive in through our commitment to diversity, inclusion and belonging.

The Sunrun Software Product Management team plays a critical role in our company’s success by collectively owning and evolving our industry leading software products, including our e-commerce platform, point of sale platform, and customer-facing app. These products are powered by domain-level innovations across the customer experience - from solar energy system design and payments, to communications and our data platform, and everything in between.

Sunrun is building our next gen set of software products for our supply chain (incl. warehouse operations) and our finance ops org, centered around but not solely encompassing a new Oracle Cloud ERP, which will enable our company to more efficiently and effectively install, service and finance home energy systems that include solar and battery storage, EV chargers, smart panels and more. These improvements are key to our ongoing operations, customer and employee experience, and the innovation path of our company. From reducing stockout rates and ensuring that our crews go out to customers’ homes with the right equipment for the job, to enabling easier onboarding of new hardware and financial products and seamless management of our suppliers and inventory, this role has the opportunity to affect meaningful change across our company.

We are seeking a Staff Technical Product Manager (Staff TPM) of Supply Chain and Finance Ops to drive the vision, definition and delivery of our next gen supply chain and finance ops tools. The first assignment for the Staff TPM will be to lead our next gen ERP program, which will deliver over the next ~12 months and enable us to leapfrog towards many of the innovations that the Staff TPM will build upon thereafter. The Staff TPM of Supply Chain and Finance Ops will report directly to a Director of Technical Product Management.

On a day-to-day basis, you will be charged with formulating, co-owning and executing on the roadmap for our supply chain and finance ops tools, which requires you to possess excellent technical chops and sound business judgment. You will execute cross-functional projects and ensure that the Supply Chain and Finance Ops domain’s roadmap is continuously in-sync with the needs of our business and experience layer products (e.g.: our e-commerce platform, customer-app, etc.), which requires strong leadership, teamwork and process-orientation.

This individual contributor role is well suited for high performing, self-directed technical product leaders who have experience with cloud ERP systems. If you are looking to apply your technical product experience to address climate change and help drive the decarbonization of millions of homes, this is the right role for you.

You will leverage consumer insights, market needs, and an understanding of our cross-channel go-to-market and product set (including solar, storage and grid services, and underlying software stack) to define and evaluate new products, features and experiences, spearhead cross-functional launches, define & drive success metrics, and improve new offerings over time.

As a Staff TPM of Supply Chain and Finance Ops, you will work closely with other TPMs and senior stakeholders across the business, including Supply Chain, Operations, Finance & Project Finance, Accounting and Software Engineering. Due to the highly interdisciplinary nature of this role, and the cross-functional impact of the changes you will drive, you will need to be a respected leader who can effectively communicate, collaborate and coalition-build. The Staff TPM of Supply Chain and Finance Ops role is among the most challenging and rewarding at Sunrun. We are looking for a highly talented and driven individual who is excited to take on this challenge.
