We are seeking a passionate and talented Corporate Communications Specialist to join our team. You will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our communication strategies. What you will do:
Create timely, engaging, and effective communications across a wide variety of subjects, including community outreach, technical updates, and internal communications.
Engage with external audiences through prepared materials, real-time interactions, and timely responses to inquiries. This may include interactions with news media as needed.
Coordinate effectively with colleagues, consultants, and contractors to ensure the prompt and efficient delivery of communication projects.
Contribute to the development and execution of communication plans for internal clients and the Corporate Communications team to support the company's mission and strategic goals.

Develops communications that support the success of our company’s strategy and promote a positive perception of UNS Energy Corporation, Tucson Electric Power and UniSource Energy Services. Provides internal clients with strategic communications support to support programs and initiatives involving internal and external audiences. This may include written, audio, video or online communications, as assigned.

Position-Related Responsibilities
Develops timely, engaging and effective communications as needed in the format, subject areas and/or platforms for which responsibility is assigned.
Provides communication consulting, strategy development and implementation services to internal clients.
Communicates with external audiences as needed through prepared materials, real-time interaction and prompt responses to appropriate inquiries. This may include responsibility for communicating with news media, as assigned.
Tracks available performance metrics for assigned communication channels and adapts messaging strategy and tactics to achieve excellent performance.
Coordinates effectively with co-workers, consultants and contractors to ensure prompt, effective project delivery.
Contributes to the development and execution of communication plans on behalf of internal clients and/or the Corporate Communications team. Corporate Communications Specialist I, Senior This job description supersedes all prior descriptions.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
(Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.)

Level 1

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree
One to six years of relevant experience.
Strong demonstrated skills in the area for which responsibility will be assigned (could include writing, photography, video, social media, illustration, graphic design, or other communications discipline)
Demonstrated ability to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
Proficient with computer hardware and software for basic business applications, as well as any specialized equipment for the assigned communications role.

Preferred Qualifications
BA/BS or higher degree in a communications-related discipline
Up to seven years of relevant work experience
Energy industry experience or expertise
Previous working experience with relevant stakeholders
Senior Level

Minimum Qualifications
The above qualifications as well as:
Seven or more years of relevant experience
Strong working relationships with relevant external stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications

Skilled in managing multiple diverse activities simultaneously, executing on long-term and short-term business goals and objectives with operating with speed, accuracy and strong judgment.
