Come join our team as a Behavioral Health Tech at Sonora Behavioral Health, the Leading Behavioral Health Hospital in Tucson, Arizona. The Admissions BHT will provide support to the Admissions Team and patients. Successful candidates will have a level one fingerprint clearance card and be willing and able to work 3 12 hour shifts, 11am - 1130pm.

As a BHT at Sonora, you will participate in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans by:

+ Providing care, close supervision, and accurate documentation of patient behavior

+ Maintaining a safety first environment

+ Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers

+ Following facility policies and procedures and providing crisis intervention as necessary

+ Preparing exam rooms for new patients

+ Taking patient vitals

+ Acting as a role model using appropriate de-escalation skills, active listening skills, appropriate tone and voice volume, providing a variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining proper boundaries, and promoting positive peer culture
