The Admissions BHT will provide support to the Admissions Team and patients. Successful candidates will have a level one fingerprint clearance card and be willing and able to work 3 12 hour shifts, 11am - 1130pm.
As a BHT at Sonora, you will participate in the development and implementation of patient treatment plans by:
+ Providing care, close supervision, and accurate documentation of patient behavior
+ Maintaining a safety first environment
+ Developing positive relationships with patients and co-workers
+ Following facility policies and procedures and providing crisis intervention as necessary
+ Preparing exam rooms for new patients
+ Taking patient vitals
+ Acting as a role model using appropriate de-escalation skills, active listening skills, appropriate tone and voice volume, providing a variety of positive reinforcements, maintaining proper boundaries, and promoting positive peer culture
