The City of Chandler Human Resources Department is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as a Human Resources Principal Analyst. The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm, with flexibility to work a 9/80 flex schedule and/or telecommute up to 2 days per week following training.

The City of Chandler Human Resources team, consisting of 24 positions, supports over 2,200 full-time, temporary, and part-time employees in all areas of Human Resources, including recruitment & selection, employee relations, labor relations, classification and compensation, workers' compensation, leave management, benefits, wellness, occupational health & safety and organizational development. We are a progressive and innovative team that partners with employees and citizens to deliver quality Human Resources services in support of the City of Chandler's Mission and Values.

Who we are looking for
Our new team member will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration. We are looking for some with advanced professional HR generalist experience. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a high functioning analyst team with a primary focus of classification & compensation, labor relations support and project-based work. This position will also provide support in other functional areas, such as recruitment & selection and employee relations.

Minimum qualifications
• A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field; and
• 4 years of experience in human resources performing classification & compensation for a large organization; and
• Experience in recruitment & selection and employee relations; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.

Desired qualifications
• HR generalist experience in municipality or other government agency
• Strong excel and analytical skills.
• Project management experience.

This is a regular full-time position, subject to a 6-month probationary period. A register of qualified candidates will be active for 4 months should another position become available.
