As an Engineering Manager you will be responsible for the team vision and execution of software design and development for major components of Oracle’s Health Application & Infrastructure platform. You will apply your technical and organizational skills to solve delivery, support, and operational optimizations, while modernizing the services platform to meet the needs of next generation clinical application development.

+ You have exposure to Cloud, SaaS, and virtualization concepts and performance concerns.
+ You contain knowledge and have experience defining and monitoring system’s quality measures, SLO, and SLA.
+ You have built tooling to improve reliability of systems, automated remediation of issues, and improving scalability of platforms and systems.
+ You work backward, starting from the user or consumer. You care about creating usable, useful software that solves real problems and brings delight to users.
+ You work well with everyone. You can lead a conversation in a room with designers, engineers, and product managers.
+ You are comfortable with ambiguity. You have a strong sense of ownership and are able to drive development of new projects and features to completion.
+ You are comfortable working at all levels of the stack.
Good to haves
+ Several years of experience in software development, with a strong understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies. Agile experience a plus.
+ Shown experience in team leadership and project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex software projects.
+ Experience building cloud native applications.
+ Experience with Java, Ruby, Python or similar
+ Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines, infrastructure as code (IaC) is a plus.
+ Experience with configuration management, configuration services, and system and application configuration.
+ Experience with the security and compliance of cloud-based applications and services, implementing appropriate security controls and monitoring solutions to protect sensitive data and mitigate risks.
+ US citizen is a plus.

+ The role will be responsible for meeting current obligations while advancing our vision of modernized, automated healthcare and understanding when and where to make tradeoffs.
+ The role will be responsible for ensuring the team meets key metrics, establishes milestones, and leads and achieves commitments.

US: Hiring Range: from $79,700 to $223,500 per annum. May be eligible for bonus and equity.
