About the Role
The Supply Associate is primarily responsible for the checking in of supplies, stocking supplies, rotation of supplies, entering supplies into DNA’s supply management system and ensuring a clean and safe working environment. The Supply Associate shall also perform other duties as requested.
Essential Functions
Ensure all supplies are managed consistent with all policies and procedures as outlined in DNA Standard Operation Procedures. (SOPs)
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensure the receiving area, clinical storage and non-clinical storage areas are clean and organized.
Report all malfunction supplies and/or equipment to the Tissue Services Supervisor and/or Supplies & Facilities Supervisor.
Report all damaged supplies during receiving and check-in to the Supplies & Facilities Supervisor or designee.
Report all damaged supplies in inventory to the Supplies & Facilities Supervisor or designee.
Coordinate with the Supplies & Facilities Supervisor and Purchasing Coordinator to monitor clinical supply inventory to ensure supplies are maintained at established levels.
Perform incoming/receiving inspection of supplies and document within the BTM supply inventory system.
Ensure management of recovery supply inventory follows the First to expire First out (FEFO) strategy.
Perform stocking of supplies in each supply storage area to recommended par levels.
Responds to internal client inquiries regarding supply ordering, stock, missing supplies, etc. promptly and effectively.
Coordinates with departments for transporting of supplies that are received
Transports supplies that are received to location in the building upon request
Makes kits per kit template specifications and ensures that all kits are completed with accuracy, and supplies are ready for recovery teams (i.e. bins, OME kits, OME hold kits etc.).
May use power tools
Position Qualifications and Specifications:
Minimum Education
High School Diploma
Minimum Experience
0 - 3 years of supply management experience
