Job Summary
The Facilities Director oversees all building and ground maintenance, all daily maintenance needs and repairs (including plumbing, drywall, HVAC and appliances); project management of any remodeling; and manages the fleet vehicles and drivers for all Axiom Care facilities. This position will supervise the maintenance team and fleet drivers, as well as manage any major remodeling or construction projects for Axiom Care. This director will delegate tasks to ensure all maintenance requests and projects are completed in a timely manner and all vehicles are well maintained and running.

Duties/Responsibilities
· Responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of all Axiom Care facilities
· Manage the Maintenance Technicians and maintenance systems and processes, while looking for opportunities of improvement
· Coordinate existing facility improvements and renovations.
Recommend maintenance, mechanical, electrical, and facility design modifications
· Delegate and prioritize maintenance tasks to the maintenance team using CMMS, including setting recurring maintenance tasks.
· Maintain and manage inventory of facilities tools, equipment, vehicles, etc.
· Evaluate, negotiate and coordinate with contracted services providers such as landscapers, plumbers, electricians, roofers, HVAC technicians, general contractors, etc.
· Evaluate potential sites for new Axiom Care facilities
· Develop schedules for appropriate routine maintenance and ensure schedules are adhered to
· Perform basic maintenance tasks as needed (painting, drywalling, basic carpentry, and electrical, etc.)
· Monitor the safety and cleanliness of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, facility common areas, parking lots, outdoor recreational spaces
· Perform and document regular inspections of the property
· Interacts with a wide range of people and be personable and trustworthy
· Meet regularly with facility management to ensure fleet and maintenance needs are being met.
· Prepare and present reports to Axiom Care leadership regarding the state of company fleet and facilities
· Provide project management for any remodeling or construction projects that are outsourced
· Manage the maintenance and compliance of all fleet vehicles assigned to Axiom Care facilities
· Provide supervision and oversight for the drivers and assist with coordinating the driving schedule for all Axiom Care facilities
· Perform other duties as assigned by management

Required Skills/Abilities

Education and Experience
· Minimum of four years of full-time maintenance experience (plumbing, construction, painting, plumbing, or other skilled labor) preferred.

Minimum of 5 years of managerial experience Physical Requirements:
· Prolonged periods standing and walking.
· Must be physically able to climb ladders, bend, or crawl into awkward spaces.
· Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time.
