The Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the transportation services program to include call center, scheduling, database management, route optimization, driver and vehicle assignments. The Manager is responsible for ensuring program operations meet and where possible exceed the performance standards set for the targeted population being served. The Program Manager will provide leadership, employee supervision, support, and vision for the Transportation Program. The Program Manager is responsible for ensuring that the program provides safe, efficient, and timely transportation services to its targeted population of riders. The Transportation Program Manager demonstrates knowledge and understanding of current best practices in transportation services.

This position has 4-7 Direct Reports

Education & Experience, Knowledge/Understanding
Minimum Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience employed in roles that directly relate to transportation services
• One to three years of experience, preferably in transportation
• Ability to effectively communicate
• A minimum of two years supervisory experience, preferably in transportation
• At least one year of professional experience working with elderly persons or demonstrated knowledge of such
• Possess a valid Arizona driver’s license and insurance
• Must not have any restrictions for physical work for which reasonable accommodation cannot be made

Preferred:
• Have a Bachelor’s degree
• Have prior experience providing transportation services
