As a Payments Relationship Manager Senior, Vice President you will oversee our Rate Review and Loyalty & Retention teams. This role involves leading pricing reviews of existing clients, developing and implementing client retention strategies, and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals. You will serve as a trusted advisor leveraging core knowledge to recommend and promote Chase Payment Solutions leading to increased retention and a positive client experience.

Job responsibilities

+ Oversee Relationship Managers (RMs) professionals with responsibility for conducting comprehensive pricing discussions, rate reviews, pricing negotiations, strategic product initiatives, and retention

+ Cross functional collaboration with Payments Solutions Center, Operations, Sales, Finance and Marketing to align pricing and retention strategies with overall business goals

+ Work with Finance and analytics teams to interpret data and make data-driven decisions to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness

+ Manage, mentor, and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance, while fostering a positive and productive team culture

+ Support RMs with building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understand their needs, ensure satisfaction and address client issues promptly

+ Establish and track key performance indicators, and review them regularly to provide feedback for continuous improvement

+ Prepare and present regular reports on pricing reviews and retention rates to identify trends and areas of improvement.

+ Ensure all pricing reviews and retention efforts comply with established policies and procedures to mitigate risk

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ 5+ years of experience in payments merchant acquiring

+ Proven experience in a managerial or leadership role

+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

+ Strong organizational and project management skills

+ Ability to understand client needs and deliver exceptional service

+ Flexibility to manage multiple tasks and priorities simultaneously

+ Ability to adapt to changing business priorities

+ Track record of achieving targets and driving performance

+ High Level of integrity and professionalism, and compliance with established controls and regulations

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

+ Bachelor's and secondary degree

+ 8+ years industry or relevant experience

+ Extensive knowledge of functional discipline with proven track record of successful relationship management experience

+ 2+ years management experience

+ Extensive negotiation, selling, influencing and presentation skills
