The AmeriCorps Food Forest Specialist will work to build an agribusiness CTE (career and technical education) program at Prescott High School (PHS), that will utilize the Food Forest Learning Lab (FFLL). The program engages high school students in the 4,800 sq ft food forest and agribusiness initiatives. The VISTA will learn agricultural skills, foster community involvement, and enhance food sovereignty on campus. Responsibilities include assessing space usage, developing evaluation tools, and analyzing data to combat food insecurity in the PHS community, empowering stakeholders to reclaim their food journey.
