Our culture is at the heart of our success, and we are looking for talented individuals for the position of Distribution Standards Associate Engineer I, Senior, or Lead to bring their skills and experience to the table while enriching our already strong culture.
What you will do
You will be a part of a team that has new and fresh opportunities everyday as a Standards Engineer.
You will have regular visits into the field to review and inspect TEP equipment, such as Raptor protection, Wildfire mitigation projects, Failed materials, just to name a few.
You will take the lead in developing new standards for the crews to build power grid. In addition, you will regularly meet new vendors and manufacturer representatives who will show you new products and take the lead in doing trials on products and tools for future committee reviews. You will become a voting member on several committees to lead and present those products for discussion.
What you bring
High school diploma or GED.
5 years of experience as a Journeyman or experience in engineering system design, construction, maintenance, operations, or related experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
Familiar with basic PC applications, electrical drawings, and basic electrical concepts.
Strong analytical capabilities.
