Job Description
As a Sr. Automation Technician, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance and breakdown maintenance on production equipment. These products are mechanical components made to tight tolerances in a high-volume manufacturing capacity. You will gain in-depth product knowledge and maintain high equipment performance and uptime. You will also be responsible for a diverse mixture of activities with a strong emphasis on interacting with automated production machines.
Day To Day:
Maintain equipment to support high volume manufacturing operations
Communicate relevant equipment status to associated manufacturing line leads and supervisors
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, determine corrective actions, and communicate with Manufacturing Engineers to resolve issues
Complete assigned and ad-hoc work orders in Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Participate in process reviews for products as required
Engage in problem solving & brainstorming, both individually and as part of the team

Skills and Requirements
Strong mechanical and pneumatic knowledge and aptitude
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a technician working with complex equipment
Experience working with automated assembly equipment
Experience working with high volume automated systems
Ability to read and interpret schematics and mechanical drawings
Strong drive and attention to detail Previous experience working with PLCs
Previous Robotics experience
Past experience in a leadership role null
