JOB SUMMARY
The Machine Operator will be responsible for coordinator machine setups and operation per department work orders .
DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Job duties include but not limited to the following:
+ Setup and operate waterjet & t urret p unch press
+ Be able to make tool adjustments and inspect parts for dimensional accuracy.
+ Responsible for documenting and per forming preventative maintenance.
+ Removal of parts from sheet and dispose of scrap material.
+ Operate and ad just offsets on our CNC Lathes and VMC ’ s to meet the specifications required per draw ings using the appropriate inspection equipment .
OTHER FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work w ith maintenance and tooling personnel to manage tool inventory.
QUALIFICATIONS
+ Previous experience in a manufact uring environment preferred (5-7 years)
+ Must be able to work at a fast pace without jeopardizing safety to self and others
+ Previous experience working in a metal fabrication environment
+ Previous experience operating waterjets, brakes, turrets, hydraulic punches and/or any other metal fabrication machinery
+ Ability to read technical drawings
+ Ability to verify with proper inspection equipment the machined parts are within tolera nce specifications
REQUIRED
High school education or equivalent
Basic computer skills (Word, Excel , Lotus Notes, etc.)
