Description We are offering a short-term contract employment opportunity for an Accounts Receivable Clerk in Phoenix, Arizona. The role is centered around managing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries within the industry. The ideal candidate will be skilled in Accounts Receivable (AR), Cash Applications, and B2B collections.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately process customer credit applications as part of the Accounts Receivable function.

• Maintain precise records of customer credits.

• Resolve customer inquiries in a prompt and efficient manner.

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action as necessary.

• Perform B2B collections to ensure timely payments.

• Maintain cash applications accurately and efficiently.

• Collaborate with other team members to ensure all accounts receivable processes are completed accurately.

• Adhere to all financial regulations and practices in relation to Accounts Receivable.

• Utilize Accounts Receivable (AR) and Cash Applications skills to improve and streamline processes.

• Assist in other duties as needed to support the financial health of the company. Requirements • Must possess proficiency in Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience with Cash Applications is essential

• Prior work experience in B2B collections is required

• Strong organizational and multitasking skills are a must

• Ability to work accurately under strict deadlines

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

• Knowledge of accounting software and databases

• Must possess a high level of integrity and discretion

• Understanding of basic accounting principles and practices
