salary: $43,680 - $50,000 per year
shift: Second
work hours: 3 PM - 11:30 PM
education: High School
Responsibilities
+ Set up machines (calibration, cleaning, etc.) to start a production cycle
+ Control and adjust machine settings (e.g., speed)
+ Operate blow-mold machines (including wheels, reciprocating or shuttle machines)
+ Perform audits, weights and quality checks
+ Check output to spot any machine-related mistakes or flaws
+ Keep records of approved and defective units or final products
+ Enter data into SPC database for quality control measures
+ Troubleshoot, preventative maintenance and minor repair on blow-mold and support equipment
+ Repair or replace pneumatic and hydraulic lines
+ Maintain activity logs
The essential functions of this role include:
+ wearing steel toe shoes
+ working in a non-temperature controlled environment
+ manual lifting up to 50lbs
+ standing for 8 hours at one time
+ working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week
Skills
+ plastics injection molding (2 years of experience is required)
+ Manufacturing (3 years of experience is required)
+ plastics extrusion (2 years of experience is required)
+ Press Operation
