Are you a visionary leader and Salesforce architect with a passion for transforming higher education with Salesforce?
As a Salesforce Technical Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex Salesforce solutions to meet our clients' needs. Your role will involve collaborating with stakeholders to understand their requirements, architecting scalable solutions, and ensuring successful delivery. In additional, you will collaborate with other IntraEdge team members to explore opportunities for developing new software products, assets, and accelerators. Expertise in the education industry is a plus.
Job Requirements
Responsibilities:
Serve as a project Technical Architect for client engagements, and work with project teams to achieve client project success and project profitability.
Present and demonstrate solutions to clients, gaining buy-in and building trust.
Stay up to date on the latest Salesforce Education Cloud features and platform functionalities.
Develop Salesforce proof-of-concepts and presentations to be used for sales and business development.
Lead project technical team members and provide guidance on best practices for architecture, development, and DevOps.
Collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and challenges.
Design and architect scalable, secure, and maintainable Salesforce solutions.
Integrate Salesforce with other relevant systems using industry best practices such as APIs and data models.
Develop and implement automation strategies to streamline workflows and improve efficiency.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to internal teams and external partners.
Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
Document solutions effectively for future reference and knowledge transfer.
Collaborate with project managers to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
Manage project risks and issues, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
Provide sales support by developing solution designs, content, and financial estimates for RFP responses and other sales activities.
Mentor Junior team members on best practice approach to implementations and managing client expectations
Willingness to travel up to 25% as needed to support client and/or internal initiatives. Most project work will be performed remotely.
Qualifications:
3 - 5 years of combined experience serving as a Salesforce Developer and Technical Architect.
Proven experience as a Salesforce Technical Architect. Salesforce Certified Technical Architect (CTA) is a plus.
In-depth knowledge of the Salesforce platform, including Force.com, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), OmniStudio, and integration and security best practices.
Experience with data modeling and integration methodologies.
Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
Strong communication, collaboration, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Additional consideration for:
Experience working in the education industry, or experience implementing Salesforce Education Cloud.
Experience with Salesforce Heroku and Experience Cloud.
Experience with Salesforce DevOps practices.
Experience integrating with key higher education systems such as SIS, LMS, Advancement, etc.
Understanding of higher education technology trends.
Certifications in Salesforce Education Cloud or related products leading to a Certified Technical Architect, e.g. Platform App Builder, Integration Architecture, development lifecycle, data architecture, identity and access management.
