TRACE Consulting, LLC is seeking to fill a full-time position for a Office Survey Technician. The successful candidate will have prior experience with survey-specific AutoCAD Civil 3D experience. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, efficient, analytical, accountable, and have great attention to detail.

Typical Duties:
Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to process survey field data for the preparation of topographic surveys and 3D surfaces
Prepare Legal Descriptions and Results of Surveys
Perform staking calculations
Prepare as-builts in AutoCAD or Bluebeam
Assist in field surveying and support other civil engineering related work
Preferred Qualifications:
Four years of experience as a survey technician, including experience as a technician functioning as a lead worker performing activities related to surveying
Proficiency AutoCAD Civil 3D, version 2020 or higher
Experience working with survey field data and interpreting deeds
Experience with projects involving roadway, light rail and/or airport infrastructure
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness to travel or work from field-based office
MicroStation / InRoads / OpenRoads Designer experience preferred but not required
LSIT preferred but not required
Valid Driver License required
