The diesel mechanic is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related systems in vehicles and equipment. Responsibilities
+ Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including but not limited to trucks, buses, and heavy equipment.
+ Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
+ Repair or replace defective parts, such as fuel injectors, pumps, and exhaust systems.
+ Conduct inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal performance and compliance with safety standards.
+ Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance, and parts used.
+ Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently.
+ Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in diesel technology.
+ Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
The essential functions of this role include:
