The technician will be responsible for performing scheduled/unscheduled maintenance on manufacturing tools in the ECHO Fab. Broad knowledge of equipment across all disciplines is preferred (for example LPCVD, Metals, Etch, Photo, and Backgrind). The candidate will need to work closely with manufacturing, Equipment Engineering, and Process Engineering to understand and/or correct any issues within ECHO Fab. It is important that the candidate display the following behaviors: attention to detail, methodical decision-making/troubleshooting skills, teamwork, and workplace organization. Effective communication skills, both written and verbal are also a requirement. Candidate must be able to work independently with minimal direction once trained.

Responsibilities:

Primary duties involve cleaning parts and performing preventive maintenance, understanding and incorporating safe work practices, adherence to specifications and checklists, as well as 5S methodology. Secondary duties involve obtaining a working knowledge of ECHO Fab tool sets to perform required maintenance as specified. The candidate will perform documented maintenance procedures in support of the tools such as, but not limited to, ASM LPCVD, Ultratech Steppers, Tel coaters, Disco Grinders, SEZ etchers, Bold Hoods, Tegal etchers, Matrix etchers, SAT etchers and hoods, Suss coaters and aligners, Applied Enduras, Oerlikon Clusterline Metal Dep, and multiple metrology tools.

Requirements:

1. Experience in a wafer fab manufacturing environment.

2. Must have a strong maintenance background.

3. AA Technical Degree or equivalent military experience.

4. Competent in troubleshooting and capable of applying logic to isolate and repair equipment.

5. Ability to deal with multiple issues and shifting priorities.
