ISC Production Supervisor
As an ISC Production Supervisor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and managing the production operations in our Palmetto location. You will be accountable for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the production processes, meeting production targets, and maintaining high standards of quality and safety. Your guidance and expertise will contribute to the success and growth of our organization.
You will work onsite at our Palmetto, Florida location Monday – Friday working occasional weekends on 2nd or 3rd shift.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and productivity of our production operations. Your responsibilities will include supervising and coordinating the work of production teams, ensuring adherence to production schedules, implementing process improvements, and maintaining a safe working environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Provide input on methods to improve productivity through reduction of rework, equipment acquisition, better methods of assembly, overhead reductions, etc.
+ Review and analyze cost and performance data of various operations and implement cost improvement plans.
+ Document Lessons Learned.
+ Assign employees to tasks in accordance with established classifications and practices to meet detailed shop schedules and ensure individual performance levels and specific production requirements are met.
+ Recommend additions or reductions to the workforce which are commensurate with workload.
+ Seek out and recognize safety and health hazards. Assure immediate corrective action through personal action.
+ Conduct routine safety talks and audits with shop employees.
+ Ensure that proper training and instruction is given to each employee.
+ Verify that instructions are being followed and that routines, procedures and systems requirements are being met. Take immediate personal action when work is not progressing to plan.
+ Maintain good housekeeping and take corrective actions.
+ Ensure all safety and work rules are met, and take corrective action as required.
+ Generate incident reports.
+ Enforce work rules and practices in a fair manner to staff and hourly workforce.
+ Participate in Root Cause Analysis to support Quality and Safety continuous improvement initiatives.
+ Initiate detailed Variation Notices when shop floor variations occur.
+ Review and approve time entries for shop floor technicians.
+ Develop personnel and conduct semi-annual performance appraisals of all shop floor staff.
+ Participate in Drawing Reviews.
+ Implement our Basic Safety Program and lead Shop Floor Technicians in safety awareness to insure a safe work environment with Zero incidents.

YOU MUST HAVE
+ 5+ years of experience in manufacturing environment.
