The City of Chandler City Clerk’s Office is currently seeking qualified individuals interested in joining our team as aCity Clerk Representative (full-time, temporary). This position serves at the discretion of the department director. The position is scheduled to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Who we are
The City Clerk’s Office offers a wide range of services to the residents of Chandler and the surrounding communities. Election assistance and passport applications are just some of the services provided, along with a multitude of information and records regarding the City Code and City Council actions. The City Clerk’s Office preserves legal documents and is the source of information on City Council legislation and actions.
Who we are looking for
Our new team members will have a passion for customer service, teamwork, and collaboration and will have experience with customer service and clerical work. The primary function of this position will be providing our citizens with assistance in processing their passport requests.

Minimum qualifications
• A High School Diploma or GED; and
• 1 year of general clerical experience; and
• Passport Acceptance Agent Designation upon hire or promotion; and
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
Desired qualifications
• Previous experience processing passports.
• Previous experience in customer service position.
