Description:
The Policies and Procedures Administrator works independently to create and maintain a formal database that
defines policies, procedures, and related best practices for each business unit within the division, for example Loan
Servicing or Retail Lending,
RESPONSIBILITIES
Creates and maintains policies and procedures for all business units
within the division for communication and delivery in an on-line format.
Consult with various departments and with sr management to
ensure all departments function in a cohesive manner utilizing processes
that maximize effectiveness and comply with all legal requirements.
Works with various business leaders to identify policy and procedure
priorities.
Researches and drafts comprehensive policy and procedure documents
considering business goals, compliance and legal requirements.
Obtains necessary approvals.
Updates existing policy and procedure materials.
Implements and maintains a user-friendly procedure database.
Coordinates with the training group to ensure training materials are
updated with the most recent policies and procedures.
Performs other related duties as required and assigned, such as process
maps/workflows.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
Must have 2+ years of technical Writing (Policies and Procedures) Experience at minimum.
● Exceptional English composition, grammar and writing skills
● Above average project management skills with the ability to multi-task
● A solid knowledge of the mortgage industry
● Above average PC skills
● Strong logical and critical thinking skills
● Self-motivated and assertive
● Must be highly proficient in Excel and Word
● Must be a team player with strong attention to detail and able to work independently
● Proven track record at delivering timely and accurate information in a fast-paced environment
● Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, mathematical skills and sound judgment
● Financial Services and, if possible, mortgage industry experience preferred
● Strong business acumen and ability to interface with executive management
