Located in Tucson, AZ, our **Respite Program** successfully provides an interval of rest for individuals and their primary caregivers without disruption to their home environments. We provide Respite services to individuals from birth to the age of 17, who are experiencing moderate emotional or behavioral difficulties. Through the Respite program, kids get to enjoy group activities and go on field trips to museums, roller skating, movies, arcades, park visits, and more! And, we operate out of residential houses, creating a fun and safe home-like environment for those in our care.
As a **Behavioral Health Technician (BHT)** , you will work directly with the children/youth to be seen as a positive role model - dedicated and truly caring about their well-being. BHT’s mentor and have fun with kids doing various year-round activities such as art projects, field trips, and various athletics (basketball, soccer, Frisbee, etc)! You will assist and support the planning, implementation, and documentation of those programs designed to meet the social, emotional, physical, and personal needs of individuals in the Respite Program.
**Pay Range: $17 - $18.70 / hr.**
**Part Time Overnight Schedule: Friday and Saturday 10:15pm - 8:15am (with other hours as needed)**

**Qualifications**
+ Must be 21 years of age or older
+ High School diploma or GED required
+ Valid Arizona Driver's License & pass DMV 36-month history check
+ Previous experience working with children/adolescents with behavioral/emotional needs required
+ **Part Time Overnight Schedule: Friday and Saturday 10:15pm - 8:15am (with other hours as needed)**
OTHER:
+ **Attend mandatory full time, paid, New Hire Orientation Monday-Friday 8:30am-5pm**
+ Current AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card with no restrictions (or eligibility to obtain with no restrictions)
+ Pre-employment Physical and Job Demand Assessment (if applicable)
+ Drug test within 24hrs of offer w/ negative results
