Laser Components Detector Group, Inc. is looking for an Electronics Test Supervisor on a full time 40hr per week basis for our manufacturing location in Chandler, AZ. The individual will be part of a dynamic team electrically testing high performance avalanche photodiodes (APDs) and PINs, high speed receivers, linear arrays, TEC-cooled photoconductors, and pyroelectric detectors. In a state-of-the-art production facility, our devices are processed with different materials including, silicon, InGaAs, lead salts, and pyroelectrics.
Job Responsibilities:
Hands-on electrical testing of specialized Avalanche Photo-Diodes and other specialized parts (tasks such as measuring current, voltage, resistance, responsivity, noise, etc.)
Leading a team of test operators and serving them in terms of prioritizing their work, removing their roadblocks, motivating them, and supporting to fill gaps in the team
Computer literate and able to interpret basic product specs and schematics, as well as follow verbal and written instructions.
Use of various benchtop lab test equipment such as probers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, HP spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, Keithley instruments, signal analyzers, test boxes, etc.
Capable of being trained across the entire product line including product assembly, QA, and working with Engineering on new or emerging products
Required Skills and Qualifications:
Must have excellent vision and good hand-eye coordination and work with very small parts under a microscope or specialized test equipment.
Minimum 10 years experience in electronic testing or manufacturing.
At least 8 years experience leading a small team of test operators. Management experience required
Familiarity with benchtop lab test equipment like multimeters, oscilloscopes, probers, multimeters, HP spectrum analyzers, voltmeters, Keithley instruments, signal analyzers, test boxes, etc.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including computer skills
