As an Advanced Field Service Engineer at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide technical support and expertise to our customers in the areas of PLC, Conveyor, Packaging, Palletizing, Sortation, ASRS, Automated Storage, and Material Handling. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. Your contributions will have a direct impact on the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical support and service.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical issues for our customers
• Provide technical support and expertise for our Conveyor Systems solutions
• Provide technical support and expertise for our Mechanical Systems & Components solutions
• Perform or assist with Mechanical and electrical installation or modification to Intelligrated and Legacy equipment.
• Troubleshoot and debug all issues including mechanical, electrical, or programming using the provided drawings, direction or write sections of the PLC program.
• Modify, adjust, or develop robotic application code.
• Mark-up drawings (Red Line) with any updates or changes as required.
• Communicate issues, successes, and delays with the Customer, project manager, team members and regional management daily. This may include but not exclusive to Electronic Issue Reports
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
• Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
• Regional Travel up to 100%
YOU MUST HAVE
•5+ years of proven experience in field service engineering, with a focus on electrical and mechanical solutions or Conveyor systems
•High School Diploma or equivalent
•Valid Driver’s License
•Ability to travel over 100% of the year
•Must successfully complete a comprehensive assessment demonstrating proficiency in Electrical and Mechanical principles and PLC programming
WE VALUE
•Associate degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
