As a Sr Program Controls Specialist here at Honeywell, you will play a critical role in managing and directing the control and oversight of various aspects of a project, such as scheduling, cost management, risk assessment, and reporting. You will report directly to our Program Controls Manager and you will work out of our Glendale, AZ location on a hybrid work schedule.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on the organization's financial health, operational efficiency, risk management, stakeholder relationships, and overall success in delivering projects and programs. By effectively managing these aspects, Sr Program Controls Specialists contribute to the achievement of organizational goals and objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Subject Matter Expert in development of initial program baselines (cost or schedule) for high-risk development programs
+ Prepares and analyzes reliable internal/external cost or schedule report data for program stakeholders
+ Responsible for EAC (estimate at completion) management on complex and high-risk programs.
+ Performs reliable cost-walk and cost analysis for program stakeholders
+ Leads compliant baseline change management
+ Ensures cost and schedule integration are aligned to scope and contract requirements
+ Guide the program controls function for projects and programs
+ Develop and implement project planning and scheduling strategies
+ Monitor and control project costs and budgets
+ Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
+ Analyze project performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations
+ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
+ Ensure compliance with project management standards and best practices

The annual base salary range for this position is $99,400 - $124,200. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. YOU MUST HAVE
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in program controls, project management, or related roles
+ Strong leadership and team management skills
+ Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Strong understanding of project management ethics and methodologies
+ Experience with project planning and scheduling tools
+ Excellent communication and people-oriented skills

+ Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field

+ Cost Reporting Generation: CPR, IPMR, IPMDAR, CFSR, NASA533, CSDR
+ External Integrated Master Schedule Reporting: Microsoft Project, SSI Tool, SRAs
+ Proposal Experience: Generating Basis of Estimate
+ Experience in managing projects in a matrix organization
+ Strong negotiation and influencing skills
+ Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment
