CW7 Arizona, in Phoenix is seeking an energetic, skilled and creative photographer/editor to join our team. This candidate is responsible for operating the video production equipment to capture content and edit general assignment stories and b-roll. The photographer will work with a reporter, and on occasion alone, to capture complete stories and provide suggestions that enhance storytelling. The position works closely with the producing team and directors to understand project deliverables and produce content on deadline.
+ Quality operation of studio and field equipment in a live or recorded environment to capture footage from a fixed or moving position according to the requests and standards set by the producing team.
+ Ability to set up and shoot live remotes to allow transmission of all forms of media feeds for live reports back to the station.
+ Set up and record interviews with quality sound.
+ Lighting subjects and scenes in both field and studio settings.
+ Shoot and edit news packages, features, raw footage, sound, graphics, effects to enhance footage, improving and correcting lighting, and coloring.
+ Working closely with producing team and production lead in keeping project and files organized.
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Experience:
+ Bachelor’s degree in production or (3) three years’ experience in a professional production working environment.
+ Knowledge of broadcast quality camera, audio, and lighting equipment.
+ Adobe Creative Suite.
+ Detail oriented with strong organizational and communication skills.
+ Ability to lift and move broadcast equipment such as cameras, tripods, lights, etc. up to 40 pounds.
+ Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
+ Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions and indoor climate-controlled conditions.
$19.23 to $22.05 per hour, depending on experience.
