New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is currently looking to add to our clinical department at our West Valley locations.
New Horizon Community Care (NHCC) is a non-profit agency that specializes in residential and outpatient behavioral health services, serving at-risk children, teens and adults all around the valley.
Established in 2001, NHCC has developed a programming structure that challenges, encourages and empowers clients to enhance self-esteem and to modify their behaviors in order to become productive community members. Clients participate in activities, groups and life lessons that help them assess their internal strengths, capabilities and improve decision-making skills.

Minimum Qualifications:
A master's degree in human services; and professional experience (post-grad) or a formal supervised internship that is a part of a professional Master's degree with the population NHCC serves. (Counseling, Clinical Addictions, Social Work etc)
Must have or eligible for licensure through Arizona Board of Behavioral Health. (LAC, LAMFT, LASAC, LMSW, LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LISAC)
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus!

Position Responsibilities:
Provide therapy/counseling and support services for a diverse caseload the population NHCC serves who are experiencing mental health issues, communication challenges or family conflict.
Provide clinical assessment of client, and create and manage treatment plan, under the supervision of a Behavioral Health Professional
Participate in the process by which the agency will evaluate the quality of a client record; documentation, counseling services, evaluation, and diagnosis.
Manage client accountability as appropriate for program while in the care of NHCC.
Participate in CFTs and coordinate with staff to ensure clients are attending appointments and meetings in a timely manner, attend school staffing and arrange for all special education testing.
Inform Clinical Director/Administrator of client or staff concerns.
Provide direction to Clinical Director in order to develop a counseling program that reflects the needs of the population in the program.
Ensure each client receives the appropriate care in accordance with the client's treatment plan under the supervision of a Behavioral Health Professional.
Act as a mandated reporter when needed.
Maintain confidentiality of records relating to clients' treatment (HIPAA)
Serve as a client advocate when needed
Protect Client Rights
Completes and ensures all billing is reflected by actual services provided, submits in designated timely manner
Ensure billing meets NHCC requirements for position
Maintain required licenses and certification to keep employee file in compliance at all times
Complete all tasks designated by your supervisor
Salary: Starting at $52,000 plus, dependent on education, licensure, and years of experience!
