As a Senior Supply Planner here at Honeywell Energy & Sustainability Solutions (ESS), you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end warehouse and inventory operations. You will be responsible for coordinating and overseeing the storage, distribution, and tracking of inventory to ensure efficient supply chain operations and give Honeywell ESS a competitive edge in the market. With your expertise in warehouse management and strong analytical skills, you will develop strategies to optimize cost, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Your ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage direct reports, and ensure compliance with regulations will contribute to the success of our warehouse operations. You will report directly to our Maintenance Manager and you will work out of our Baton Rouge, Louisiana location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and accuracy of our warehouse operations, ensuring timely delivery of products to our customers and maintaining optimal inventory levels. You will be responsible for managing inventory control processes, implementing best practices for warehouse operations, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the execution of warehouse and inventory management strategies to enhance efficiency and reduce costs
• Manage the end-to-end warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
• Optimize warehouse layout, storage systems, and material handling equipment to maximize space utilization and productivity
• Collaborate with suppliers, vendors, and logistics partners to establish strong partnerships and streamline operations
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and safety standards
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders across the organization

YOU MUST HAVE
• 3+ years of experience in warehouse management, preferably in a fast-paced distribution environment
• Strong knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficient in using warehouse management software and tools (strong preference for exceptional knowledge SAP
• Effective communication and leadership abilities
