Description We are seeking a Medical Biller/Collections Specialist based in Chandler, Arizona. As part of our team, you will be responsible for conducting medical billing collections, liaising with patients for insurance information, and investigating denied insurance claims to obtain necessary information. This role offers a long term contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and process medical billing collections
• Proactively reach out to patients to gather insurance information
• Investigate and resolve denied insurance claims by obtaining necessary information
• Utilize Zoll RescueNet software for medical billing collections
• Leverage knowledge of Accounting Software Systems, Allscripts, Cerner Technologies, Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE), EHR SYSTEM in daily operations
• Handle Accounts Receivable (AR), Appeals, Authorizations, Benefit Functions, and Billing Functions
• Support the growth of the midwest center, including operations in Oklahoma, Georgia, and Arkansas
• Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
• Maintain accurate customer credit records and monitor customer accounts for necessary action. Requirements • Position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in Medical Billing and Collections.
• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is essential for this role.
• Knowledge and experience with Allscripts and Cerner Technologies are required.
• Familiarity with Dynamic Data Exchange (DDE) is a must.
• Experience with EHR SYSTEM is mandatory.
• Proficiency in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is highly desirable.
• Experience with Appeals, Authorizations, Benefit Functions, and Billing Functions is essential.
• Must possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Should have strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Proactive and able to work independently or as part of a team.
• Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.
• Must have a high degree of integrity and ethical standards.
• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Familiarity with medical terminologies and procedures is a plus.
