This role will lead small to medium size project teams (5-10 engineers) that implements both standard engineering solutions and when required customized (complex) project special solutions. To deliver this scope to successful completion, within the budgeted time, cost constraints while achieving the required quality.
This role will be technically responsible for the overall design and scope of the systems under their lead on the project. These systems should be delivered fully in line with applicable Honeywell standards, design rules and guidelines.
This role will lead and support the implementation of projects in line with P&AS objectives including continuous improvement of margin, customer satisfaction, schedule, working capital and safety performance.

Responsibilities
· Acts as technical interface with customers, establishing professional relationships to ensure that the technical project requirements are fully defined, agreed and delivered within schedule and cost constraints.
· Acts as technical interface to 3rd party suppliers to assure correct functionality of the 3rd party deliverables including the correct integration of those deliverables in Honeywell systems or solutions.
· Ensures that required prerequisites (e.g. design inputs, tools, documentation, deliverables, schedule, and budget) are in place and understood for the scope and resources they are responsible for prior to commencing work.
· Produces and/or approves functional and detailed design specifications and provides technical leadership, support and expertise for the project team.
· Ensures that the engineered solution meets project requirements, across all disciplines, in terms of functionality, Honeywell standard designs & design rules, quality, and supports documentation and implementation process at minimum cost by optimizing use of global productivity tools and other Standard Builds deliverables.
· Monitors and controls technical project scope against the Project Execution Plan and Functional & Detailed Design Specifications, ensures effective change control and identifies risks / opportunities.
· Proactively recommends potential quality and efficiency improvements and shares technical knowledge back to Discipline Communities, the EEX organization and the project team.
· Reports progress and technical problems and/or changes to project manager.
· Performs supervision with direction from the branch/engineering manager.
YOU MUST HAVE
+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics

· 10+ years of applicable project engineering experience.
· 7+ years Honeywell Experion experience.
· Honeywell ELCN/EUCN system and On Process migration knowledge
WE VALUE
· Product certification or knowledge about Honeywell products (Experion, Batch Manager C300, EHPMX, C300PM, TPS, TDC3000, TDC2000, PHD, DynAmo, SM, PLC, HART, Fieldbus, PGM, EIM)
· Distributed Control Systems experience (DCS)
· Rockwell PLC5, ControlLogix / MicroLogix / CompactLogix
· Integration with third parties, Protocols OPC, Modbus TCP, HART, Fieldbus, Profibus.
· Integration with CIP and Honeywell System
· HMI, SCADA systems, Control/safety systems specifications
