Honeywell Advanced Connected Solutions Technology (ACST) team is seeking a highly qualified Procurement Buyer II. The position can be based at ACST's sites in Golden Valley, MN, Broomfield, CO, Herndon, VA, Chandler, AZ, or Albuquerque, NM.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Establish and drive procurement of material and services
Conduct RFQ processes, supplier selection, purchase order placement
Review and monitor purchase requisitions
Resolve invoice discrepancies
Monitor shipment and services
Assess supplier performance
Create and maintain supplier records
Work with internal team on requirements, need dates and work to support businesses
Ensure that the suppliers are acknowledging orders immediately and accurately
The annual base salary for this position is $64,200.00 - $80,200.00. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Must Have
3+ years of procurement/administrative experience
1+ years’ experience preparing, issuing, and analyzing RFQs (Requests for Quotes)
U.S. citizenship is required due to contractual requirements. Applicants must also be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance. Continued employment is contingent upon successful completion of security processing.
WE VALUE
Bachelor's Degree BS or BA, preferably in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
Experience with SAP or similar Procurement system
Experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR/DFAR), and ITAR and import/export requirements
Ability to prepare, issue and analyze RFQs (requests for quotes)
Expedite orders when required to ensure on-time shipments
Able to quickly understand processes and ensure adherence to the same
Good organizational skills – ability to prioritize and solve problems
Ability to work in a fast-paced, autonomously driven, and demanding start-up-environment
Participate in a culture of excellence and teamwork
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
