Fluidra ’s looking for a Lead Welder to join our team at our Bobe Plant in Phoenix, AZ.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
+ Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures
+ Set up components for welding according to specifications
+ Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded
+ Align components using calipers, rulers etc. and clamp pieces
+ Test and inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws
+ Maintain work area and equipment in a condition that does not compromise 5S initiative and safety
+ Perform other duties as assigned
WHAT WE SEEK
+ Proven experience as welder
+ In-Depth knowledge and understanding of TIG Welding Process.
+ Knowledge of Copper and Stainless-Steel material properties.
+ Experience in using electrical or manual tools (saws, squares, calipers etc.)
+ Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings
+ Deftness and attention to detail
+ Proficient in English, being bilingual will be a plus
+ Knowledge of relative safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face-shield, gloves etc.)
+ Ability to maintain an open line of communication with coworker’s management team
EDUCATION
+ Professional Certification ( e.g. an AWS welding certificate) will be a plus . High school diploma or equivalent required.
