The Personnel Assistant performs varied clerical functions and related general office duties in the area of human resources and payroll administration. Verify and ensure accurate payroll records and reporting.
+ Review and enter payroll information, including but not limited to, leave authorization forms, missed time punches, special hours, and historical corrections, within established payroll deadlines.
+ File and maintain supporting payroll documentation in accordance with payroll procedures.
+ Provide employment information to applicants or employees relative to job openings and application process to follow.
+ Process new employee paperwork and prints badges.
+ Maintain employee flow logs and reports in accordance with compliance requirements.
+ Creates and maintains personnel, medical, and general files in an organized manner, to include sorting, labeling, filing and retrieving, in accordance with company and facility file retention and storage procedures; maintain confidentiality and security of records.
**Qualifications:**
+ High School diploma, GED certification or equivalent is required.
+ One year experience in full-time clerical or administrative office work required, preferably in human resources administration.
+ Additional qualifying education at an accredited college, business school or technical institute in office administration or a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
+ Experience in Microsoft Office applications or other similar software applications is required.
+ A valid driver's license is required.
+ Minimum Age Requirement: Must be at least 18 years of age.
