As an Advanced Project Engineer, you will be responsible for assessing and driving the achievement of program-specific performance within Honeywell Global Engineering Services and the Chief Engineering/Product Engineering organization.

You will support Momentum Factory Support, DMAIC, and Supplier support activities impacting the Rocky Mount, NC facility and sister divisions. You will have Class II Design Authority for the Engines Site for Phase 6 ECNs supporting ISC. You will lead the Engineering effort to release ECNs and have MRB authority. You will partner with world-class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Person, which is defined as, a U.S. citizen, a U.S. permanent resident, or have protected status in the U.S. under asylum or refugee status or have the ability to obtain an export authorization.

Key Responsibilities

+ Support Momentum Factory Support, DMAIC, and Supplier support activities impacting the Rocky Mount, NC facility and sister divisions.

+ Have Class II Design Authority for the Engines Site for Phase 6 ECNs supporting ISC.

+ Lead the Engineering effort to release ECNs and have MRB authority.

+ Partner with world-class engineers and leaders to implement product strategies, develop program schedules and milestones, define technology roadmaps, and drive improvements in engineering quality and productivity.

+ Manage MRB (Material Review Board) activity processed through the facility; MRB certification will be required.

+ Drive execution of Engineering MRB through feasibility for dimension/feature departure analysis and mitigate risk in a timely manner with extended engineering teams.

+ Drive engineering actions for supplier requests; feasibility, plan for execution with extended engineering teams.

+ Work closely with Operations & Quality to control and reduce repetitive MRB activity using root cause analysis and corrective action response.

+ Work independently and effectively within cross-functional teams.

+ Integrate with ISC effort events as well as agile projects to review proposed processing changes to ensure product integrity.

+ Schedule and milestone development/management.

+ Customer interface and vendor interface support for item resolution.

+ Development and analysis of estimations.

+ Metric development/reporting.

YOU MUST HAVE

+ Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics.

+ Minimum 4 years experience in engineering.

+ Promote customer relationships.
