As an Industrial Automation Field Service Engineer here at Honeywell, you will have the opportunity to provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise to our customers in the Industrial Automation (IA) business unit. You will be accountable for troubleshooting and resolving complex technical issues, ensuring the successful implementation of our solutions, and driving customer satisfaction. In this role, you will impact the efficiency, productivity, and safety of our customers' operations by providing exceptional technical facilitation and service.
You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our Houston, TX location on a hybrid work schedule. Note: For the first 90 days, New Hires must be prepared to work 100% onsite M-F. Relocation support may be provided.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues for our customers
+ Provide advanced technical facilitation and expertise for our IA solutions
+ Work with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation of our solutions
+ Conduct training sessions for customers and field service engineers
+ Stay updated with industry trends and advancements, and provide recommendations for improvement
+ Providing Technical support (onsite work/break fix, electronic troubleshooting/repair, install migration, process migration, software upgrades, training system configuration, design control, etc)
+ Travel: up to 20% (US)
+ Company vehicle provided to travel to customer sites
YOU MUST HAVE
+ 6+ years of proven experience in field service engineering working in an industrial environment with a focus on complex technical solutions
+ Experience with Distributed Control Systems (DCS)
+ Strong technical knowledge and expertise in Industrial Automation technologies
+ Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
+ Experience in project management and execution
+ Strong customer focus and ability to build and maintain relationships
WE VALUE
+ Experience with TDC3000/TPS
+ Experience with Experion PKS
+ At least two level 3 or higher Honeywell certifications, one of which must be level 4, or experience necessary to attain such certifications within six months
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics
+ Strong guidance and mentoring skills
+ Continuous learning mindset and willingness to stay updated with industry advancements
+ Results-oriented approach and ability to drive projects to successful completion
+ Strong problem-solving and thoughtful abilities
