As an R&M Technician- Probe Floor here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and maintenance of our probe floor equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Your expertise in equipment maintenance and your attention to detail will contribute to the smooth operation of our probe floor and the overall success of our operations.
You will report directly to our R&M Manager and you'll work out of our Richardson, TX location.
In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our probe floor operations by ensuring the reliability and maintenance of the equipment. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving equipment issues, performing preventive maintenance tasks, and documenting maintenance activities. Your attention to detail and commitment to quality will be essential in maintaining the highest standards of equipment performance.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
+ Installation, service, troubleshooting and repair of Probe equipment.
+ Associated with that responsibility, will be interfacing with Manufacturing and Engineering to facilitate solutions to problems
+ Communicate issues and document findings via Repair and Maintenance electronic system
+ Support continuous improvement at the Richardson facility through participation in the rapid problem solving process, initiation and implementation of Continuous Improvement (CI) & challenging themselves and others to continuously look for ways to do things better

Basic Qualifications:
+ 5 years of experience as a Semiconductor Equipment Technician
+ Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbal.
+ 3 years of proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel
+ Ability to work compressed work week (12 hour days)
Preferred Qualifications:
+ An associate’s degree
+ EG2001 and MarTek 4080+ prober, Laser scribe, Inker, tool installation, M350 Lasers, scopes, and board level troubleshooting experience
+ Knowledge of Lean and 5S is highly desirable
+ Must be able to make most decisions on their own, follow directions, and seek management assistance when needed
+ Be able to lift minimum of 25 pounds.
+ Work in a fast paced environment
+ High school diploma or equivalent
