**Summary**
Provides evaluation, recommendations, methodologies, direction, expertise, leadership, and management of the enterprise-wide Business Continuity program. Adheres to the ten professional practices for Business Continuity Management to include developmental improvement and maintenance of the departmental and corporate programs. The Business Continuity & Emergency Management (BCEM) Program Managers cross-train as a team to address Business Continuity, Emergency Management, and Disaster Recovery. However, the ideal candidate for this specific position will have strong business continuity experience.
**What You'll Do**
+ Serves as the program manager for risk assessment, business continuity strategies, incident response, emergency management, business impact analysis, and disaster recovery. Responsible for the development, maintenance, planning, compliance and reporting of corporate level incident response.
+ Serves as the program manager for plan development and implementation, business continuity plan exercise, assessment, and maintenance to maintain a state of readiness.
+ Establishes the program initiation and management framework to support the business continuity program. Promotes and maintains awareness and training programs that result in personnel being able to respond to incidents in a calm and efficient manner.
+ Develops the framework for a crisis management plan. Ensures the crisis management plan provides for timely, effective coordination with internal and external parties. Communicates incident response activities with external and public agencies.
+ Prepares, analyzes, interprets technical information and reports to all levels of the organization, including executive management and the Crisis Management Team, using oral and written communication techniques and digital and print graphical visual aids.
**What It Takes To Succeed**
+ One or more of the following certifications is/are required: Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP), Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), and/or Master Exercise Practitioner (MEP) or the ability to obtain one of the listed certifications within one (1) year of employment.
+ The ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization, as well as those external to our company, is very important, as well as public speaking.
**Experience**
Ten (10) years of professional experience in disaster recovery, business continuity, emergency management, project management, utility management, or related areas.
**Education**
Completion of a Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution plus an additional 18 graduate level college credits in an area of specialty.
**Hybrid Workplace**
SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
