Adecco is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented **Collections Specialist** to join our client’s team in Tempe, AZ. This is a 12-month contract position with the potential to convert to a permanent role.
**Shift Hours:** Shifts vary based on business need, applicants must be flexible
+ **Early Shift:** 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
+ **Late Shift:** 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM, Monday - Thursday
+ **Friday:** 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
+ **Saturday:** 6:00 AM - 11:00 AM

**Qualifications:**
+ High School Diploma or equivalent
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including phone etiquette
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Proven decision-making and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to collaborate effectively with team members
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Prior collections experience
+ Knowledge of collections or repossession processes
+ Bilingual in Spanish
**Responsibilities:**
+ Efficiently collect assigned accounts, aiming for a minimum of 95% efficiency.
+ Meet or exceed performance targets for collection efforts, including daily contact quotas, repossession inventory, and past due budget.
+ Process customer drafts, fee waivers, Right to Cure, and other deferrals, adhering to written policy guidelines.
+ Order updated credit bureau reports or initiate skip tracing as needed.
+ Document all collection efforts according to established procedures.
+ Process customer payments electronically.
+ Regularly communicate with management regarding the status of problem accounts.
+ Provide general customer service support.
**Pay Details:** $19.00 per hour
