Machinist - Level 5
As a Machinist - Level 5 here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in our machining processes to ensure the efficient production of high-quality parts. Your expertise in operating and programming CNC machines will contribute to the success of our manufacturing operations and the overall growth of our business. You will report directly to our Machine Shop Manager and you'll work out of our Phoenix, AZ.
In this role, you will have a significant impact on our production capabilities by operating and programming CNC machines, conducting quality inspections, and troubleshooting any issues that arise. Your attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment will be instrumental in meeting production goals and delivering high-quality results.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Operate and program CNC machines to produce high-quality parts
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during the machining process
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize production schedules
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment

YOU MUST HAVE
• Proven experience as a machinist, operating and programming CNC machines
• Strong technical knowledge and expertise in machining processes
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

• Associate's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience with CAD/CAM software
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
